Theresa Broome is our Treasurer. Theresa is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Theresa’s long career in accountancy included Financial Controller at the Institute of Civil Engineers, Director of Finance and Resources for the International Transport Workers Federation, Treasurer and Board Member for the London Community Land Trust, and Independent Consultant. Now retired, Theresa also co-delivers Toddler Gymnastics with her husband Theo, and volunteers for St Albans Community Pantry. Theresa lives in Sopwell.
Melanie Saunders is a Senior Partnership Manager for Save the Children, managing a number of the charity's most impactful corporate partnerships. With a 33-year career in senior roles within both the corporate and charity sectors, she has been supporting LeeAnna’s Wish for over 2 years in areas such as strategic thinking, governance and fundraising strategy. Mel lives in St Albans.
Julie d’Adamo is a highly sought after TV producer specialising in sport – she has worked on the Olympics, Euros, and World Cup and for Netflix and FIFA. She manages content creation and social media for Leeanna’s Wish. Julie is an FA qualified football coach who leads our Empower Women’s football programme. Julie met Shelley after the BLM march in St Albans and has been involved with Leeanna’s Wish from the start, using her professional skills to gain visibility and amplify our message.
Gail Davidson is a regenerative storyteller, communications and content geek, death doula and mentor and community activist.. She supports people and communities to share their stories in life and write their endings in death, and using narratives for system change. She’s the CEO of the British Association for Holistic Medicine and Healthcare. Gail came to LeeAnna’s Wish through volunteering at Rennie Grove’s Compassionate Cafe. She supports the community in planning for end of life, death and loss, coordinates the research and advises on communications and operations.
