SHELLEY HAYLES

Shelley is a highly experienced social worker. Expertise and specialisms include: youth justice and offender management, public speaking and leadership. She has lived experience of growing up in local authority care and has been influential in changing UK policy.

Shelley was the main speaker at the 2000+ visitor BLM protest in June 2020 in Verulamium Park. In 2021 she was appointed St Albans Lib Dem Diversity Officer and has strong working relationships with people, communities and statutory agencies across Hertfordshire.
